Attention General Sessions Attorneys and Defendants:

You and your client are required to call our message line at (843) 355-8988 on FRIDAY, September 11th, at which time defendants will either be asked to come to the courthouse or given another date to call back. These call-ins will temporarily take the place of in-person appearances to abide by proper safety regulations. Defendants have a duty to continue to call that number as instructed until he/she is instructed to report in person to the courthouse.


Each County of South Carolina has an elected Clerk of Court who serves a 4 year term. The Clerk of Court serves the Circuit, Juvenile, and Family courts, and also as Register of Deeds.
